The Red Sox, I'm a die-hard fan. Grew up in Massachusetts and have supported them since I was in elementary school.

I don't like the Yankees because they win too much. I'm not much of a Red Sox fan either, but I'd pick them over the Yankees.

the sox have players like pedroia, bucholz, and ellsbury, who will continue improving. now we have lackey also, so our starting pitching just got a whole lot better.
the yankees, all though are the champions FOR NOW, have players like a rod. he is overpayed, overrated, and will do anything to win (steriods). although i cannot stand the yankees, even a diehard sox fan has to admit that jeter seems decent.

everyone can have an opinion, but there is hard evidence that the red sox are good.
