2. The updated file was sent to your email account. - This is used for informing the person that the updated file was sent together with a specific time. Example, The updated file was sent to your email account on Monday. You usually use this to reply to the person's inquiry asking for the updated file.

3. The updated file has been sent to your email account. - This is a one-way notice to the person. So, most appropriate to what you wrote in Chinese 我已經把更新了的檔案寄到你的電郵

4. The updated file is being sent to your email account. - This is informing the person that the updated file is sent to him/her by someone (may not be you) now.

5. The updated file was being sent to your email account. - This usually used when some problem happened when the updated file was sent (in the past). Example, The updated file was being sent to your email account but it did not go through due to size of the file. (not used very often though)

第3比較好，因為佢強調"現在"嘅情形。

2. The updated file was sent to your email account.last night= this was done last night.
3. The updated file has been sent to your email account.- the correct answer to your saying
4. The updated file is being sent to your email account.- this means you are sending the email now.
