I want to ask if this grammar is correct or not.

"Though she is rich, but she is not happy."

I ask this becuase we nornally cannot ass "but" after "although", but how about "though"? My MS Word has checked it for me and it cannot find a mistake. But I am still not sure about this. Can please help me? Thanks.

No you cannot use but. It is because if you do so, your sentence would not have a main clause. Both "Though she is rich" and "but she is not happy" are subordinate clauses.

Though she is rich, she is not happy.

002 ashleydis has the right answer; "though" is the same as "although", so it cannot be used with "but". MS word only checks simple grammar. For example, it detects error in "I eating dinner", but accepts "I eat dinner yesterday" as correct.

這句百份百正確! 反問你疑問些什麼呢? 這是[ 對等 ]連接句.
Though she is rich.......主句though雖然/即使(adv)形容整句...她是富有.

but she is not happy....對等句用連詞(conj.)but但是/可是/然而...她是不開心.

雖然...咩咩咩.../ 但是... 咩咩咩... 我們中文也是一樣,冇咩唔妥.

更正: though之後不能用 but,中英文化有所不同.

correct: Though she is rich, she is not happy.

..OR.....She is rich, but she is not happy.

兩者不能並用,多謝006提醒,我再上多一課.

although/though/even though/but/yet share the same meaning, so you use each of them once is the most appropriate.
I think word is not always correct.
