活士這次醜聞最致命之處是事件牽涉十多位情婦，妻子也決定下堂而去。若活士堅持繼續打球，繼續贏取豐厚獎金，只會令外界覺得他冷酷無情，到時輿論壓力只會更大。現在決定暫時退出球壇，實為合理的拆衷之法。

至於菲比斯，雖然被拍攝到吸大麻照片，但經過一段「過冷河」時期後又可以是一條好漢。除非他短期又再犯事，否則可以預期他成功「洗底」的機會極高。始終「知錯能改，善莫大焉」。
