試舉個例, 今日你用翻譯網去翻譯一篇文章, 明日你再用翻譯網去譯同一篇文章, 相信結果都會一樣, 但人就可以透過經驗的累積而譯出不同風格或者不同水準的文章. 如果電腦都可以做到創作, 這個世界就不用有作家或者專業的翻譯員了! 不過, 如果你只是用翻譯網去起一個初稿, 然後再加以修正, 這個做法是絕對無問題的. 但如果你完全依靠翻譯網去翻譯, 就絕對有問題啦!

如果認識我的朋友, 可能會了解我回答問題只是為了享受過程, 而並非渴求一個「知識長」的虛銜, 一個去到現實世界並無人會因此而認同你的銜頭, 但最重要是, 你的知識是否真正有增長呢? 你的口語英文是否變得更流俐呢? 觀看英語的電視節目是否每句都聽得懂呢? 看英文報紙是否不用查字典呢?

只有真正的知識, 真正的學歷和資格才會得到別人的認同. 所以我回答問題只期望做到貴精不貴多, 有時會用上幾日時間去慢慢反覆地思考同一條問題, 搜集資料和向不同的朋友或者同事請教, 以尋求一個較準確的答案.

我眼見很多網友晉升為知識長就不知所蹤, 可能因為他們覺得己經「打爆機」. 但真正的知識追求又何止於此呢? 知識追求跟打機又怎會一樣呢? 現實世界的知識每日都在演變和增長之中, 對於我們來講根本就是學之不盡的. 總之, 寓學習於娛樂並非叫我們將娛樂看成學習.
