斯諾克(SNOOKER)的一個疑問~

I guess this is a "foul & miss" shot and the white ball comes to a position which becomes snooker to Higgins. So it becomes a "free ball" i.e. Higgins can pot any ball to replace his "target ball".

On the other hand, he may also ask the referee to replace the ball to the original position for Ding to pot again. Of course Higgins may think a "free ball" may be more beneficial to him and so he chose to pot the brown.
