Are you kidding? This question is very simple.

Take upward direction be positive

For the maximum height, velocity, v = 0

Acceleration due to gravity, a = -9.81 ms^-2

Displacement, s = 0.5 m

By v^2 = u^2 + 2as

0 = u^2 + 2(-9.81)(0.5)

Initial velocity, u = 3.13 ms^-1

By s = (u + v)t/2

0.5 = (3.13 + 0)t/2

Time to reach maximum height, t = 0.319 s

The hang time is this time times 2

So, the required time = 0.319 X 2 = 0.638 s
