I have done some biology experiments, the are :

Test for glucose using Clinistix paper, test for reducing sugars using

Benedict's test, test for starch using iodine test, test for lipids using grease

spot test, test for proteins using Albustix paper.

All this experiments have used the distilled water with same methods.

Q: What is the use of distilled water in each experiment ?

It is quite a strange question ,_,

The use of distilled water:
Wash the apparatus usedAct as a solvant to dissolve glucose, protein, etc............ Why distilled water is used:
Distilled water don't contain molecules such as glucose, protein, etc...So, the experimental result won't be affected if we use the distilled water to wash the apparatus or use it as a solvent.
