At this hour, ESPN Boston is reporting that Mike Lowell has been traded to the Texas Rangers for Max Ramirez who for all I know delivers for the deli in Copley Square. The Red Sox will be eating all of Lowell's $12 million salary. That probably puts Youkilis at 3d, Martinez at 1st and means the Red Sox will be picking up a catcher or puts Youk at 1st and means that the Red Sox have a third baseman on the way.
