I like chicken soup.
"chicken" is a common adjective or limiting adjective?

The child is driven to study well.
Some articles define "driven" as a verb (main) some define it as an adjective?

Which is correct?

Chicken is a descriptive adjective when used before soup. Describes what kind of soup is being discussed.

"is driven" is a verb phrase, no adjective there.
