✔ 最佳答案
gerund is verb+ing, ie go>going
to-infinitive is to+ verb base(simplest form OR present tense ), ie go, do, improve.

i like going to school. where going is gerund(動名詞)
it is time to go to school. where go is to infinitive since it is base form of go followed by to.

go, do , improve but not goes, does , improves, which , although, are present tense as well.

hope it helps

Those are [non-finite verb] 是:非限定動詞,包括分詞participle.
是不受主語的身和數限制的動詞. 也可說是爲動作而設,以避免兩個v 在同一句中.

gerund可作:主語[Hunting] tigers is very dangerous.
/賓語I like [drinking] tea.
/補語His bad habit is [drinking] wine.
/及prep.後之介詞短語.John has a bad habit of [spitting] everywhere.(gerund有已動或在動之意).
infinitive可作:名詞[To study] Eeglish is very easy.
/形容詞He has no friends [to play]with.
/副詞She is too young [to marry].(infinitive有想動而未動之意).
