中譯:佢老闆欣賞佢嘅,所以,佢(被)升職(即係表示人升佢,中文唔使咁講,但英文係).(被)升職之後,佢做嘢重勤力咗.

1呢個叫被動語態:is/am/are/was/were/will be/got/get + -ed
用喺個重點人物被人做咗嘢嗰陣,例如我俾人打(重點係我,唔係人),你俾人鬧(重點係你,唔係人)
可以用get/got代替個俾

2 promote有兩個解釋,推廣/升職,咁呢度係解升職,係唔可能用主動式,因為冇人自己升自己職,老闆先有權升人,都升唔到自己...

3 你講嘅叫進行式,個時態係唔同嘅,進行式係做緊一樣嘢,個動作應該唔係好快做完嘅.動詞有兩種,一種係形容狀態,一種係動作嘅.

例:promote(升職,唔係升幾個鐘嘅)/see(見到嗰一下,唔係睇)/find(搵到)
全部都係形容狀態
sleep(瞓覺唔係一瞓就會醒)/look for(搵,搵幾耐都得)
全部都係形容動作

所以狀態嘅字+ing,就唔係進行式,可能係動名詞(即係名詞+ing嚟變名詞,通常做主語)
例:swimming is good for health.冇人游水,但將個動作+ing,變成個主語(名詞)
但呢個情況,係名詞,就冇was/is/am/are/were/will be/get/got喺前面

動詞太多,難舉例,你多d查字典就明,可能你未學到被動語態啫.

1 啊媽我升職啦,講係咁講，其實係啊媽我(被)升職啦

即係boss promote me主動式
so i am promoted被動式

2 get= is /am/ are/, got=was/were

eg , the car get repaired.=the car is repaired
After he got promoted= after he was promoted


3 為何要用ing?你冇講到點解你覺得用promoting?

he is promoting為主動式(第一個錯，睇第一點)，而且係進行式，好少人會講進升緊 (第二個錯)

His boss appreciated his effort. therefore, he was promoted.
After he got promoted, he worked even harder.
他的老板欣賞他付出的努力.因此,他被提拔了.他的職位給提升了以後,比以前更賣力去工作
he was promoted= passive voice被動式
如果係After he was promoted就會好奇怪(他被提拔了之後)加上After he got promoted用左past participle就可以active voice,將promoted解作另一個意思

其實從中文的意思上來看都清楚知道, 只不過那是外語, 加上這句子中, 同一個 subject 前半句用 passive voice, 而後半句用 active voice, 令你有所誤會。有時要分辨, 亦要睇上文下理。

1.波士[主動appreciated]賞識他,他[被提升was promoted]be+v-ing=構成被動式.
他[穫得了got[提升[ the promoting改gerund作名詞用]之後.工作倍加努力.


V=通常作主動 / be+v-ing=被動式 [ 他不是主動提升 ]
got promoted可能誤會,不能兩個v在一起.
eg. After he [had got] the promoting. / Have+past participle.構成perfect tense./
eg. After he was promoted.
