Marco Scutaro Is Now Their New Shortstop.

Apparently they slammed Pedrioia and got Marco

they signed marco scutaro today pending physical and the physical seemed to have went fine somarco scutaro

Its already been annouced its Marco Scutaro two year deal

i hope they stick Pedroia over there. it will last as long as pulling Papelbon out of the bullpen did a couple springs ago.

I'm thinking now that Pedroia will move to SS and they'll sign a second baseman, like Hudson.

Mark Scutaro it is. He is OK, at best. 2009 was his best year.

We don't know who will be getting the new shortstop yet, but wait until 2010 who will be going to play the shortstop.

Marco Scutaro is good, but he's a type A free agent who was offered arbitration. Therefore, whoever signs him will lose a 1st and 2nd round draft pick to the jays. He did good last year, but didn't do that good the years before, so it's not sure how good he'll do in 2010. Therefore, I don't think he's worth a 1st and 2nd round draft pick. I think the red sox should get orlando hudson, and move pedroia to ss. Whoever they sign will only be signed for 2, maybe 3 years, because the red sox have a guy in the minors named Jose Igleasis. He's a ss, and is very good. In about 2 years, he'll be the Red Sox's ss.

theyre sigining scutaro. big mistake. a guy in his mid 30's who has a career year and theyre gonna sign him to a multi year deal which is not a very good idea. the guy is just gonna get older and his skills are gonna diminish.

they should have signed o-dogg and moved pedrioa to ss. o-dogg is a beast
