Atlanta Georgia is like another California on the East Coast?

i was looking at a documentary on Atlanta Georgia and they said that's its like another California on the East Coast i didn't realize Atlanta was getting that bad i live 30 min's south of the city i mean its pretty bad but i didn't know there comparing Atlanta to California do anyone else think that Atlanta crime rate is as bad as California

I would feel safer driving through LA at night than Atlanta... idk why but that's how I feel

Atlanta scares the crap out of me!! Like Sunshine said, I prefer LA over Atlanta anyday!!
And what do you mean by California? The whole state isn't a war zone! As a matter of fact, I live in an area in California that has had only ONE homicide this year.
If you are referring to the ghettos of Compton and Inglewood, their violence has gone down DRAMATICALLY unlike Atlanta where the crime is skyrocketing!
