澳洲 PR Visa 過期了4年，可否申請extend?

我在01年申請到澳洲PR，然后stay咗2星期回HK後一直沒有回去。PR Visa 是 06 年3月expired的，請問現在還可以申請extention嗎？

What you mean is, could you apply RRV and return to Australia. The answer is no. Because there are no extention for your PR Visa in any case.

There are 2 requirments for applying RRV. You do not satisified both of them

- You must be in Australia for at lease 3 month or above during your residence
- You must be in Australia If your original Visa had been expired

(Assume you are outside Australia, otherwise you would not ask this question as expired PR visa will not be deported in Australia.)

So, you would not be able to apply RRV to return to Australia. Unless You can demostrate that the long absent is justified. Situation like long term illness, have to stay with your partner oversea for whatever reason ( In jail, Contract work or Illness) or You have special tie with Australia Company.

However, since you had absented for 9 years, chances for you to get back to Australia is very slim, also, you cannot apply Travel visa to Australia, as it is illegal to apply or hold 2 australian visa for each individual. If you wish to travel to Australia, you need to relinglish your PR status and apply travel visa.
