I agree that Feliz is a good fit with the team, but all the other spots are locked down and the Mets sure to sign a big bat. Even if it's just to keep up appearances, the Phils will look to upgrade at 3B.
It sounds like they're hot for Mark DeRosa, which is the wrong move in my opinion. Great "character" guy who can flat out hit, but I think his mediocre glove will really be exposed if he plays a full season at 3B.
Figgins could be a good fit but at what cost? Are you going to offer him the money that should be going to lock down guys like Utley, Howard and Werth? And who are you going to move out of his slot in the order...Rollins? Werth? You don't sign a guy like Figgns and have him hit 7th. Beltre might slip into an "affordable" range, but again, if you're looking for a .260 hitter with a plus glove at 3B, why not just keep Feliz?
Amaro appears to be playing hardball with guys like Eyre and Park which means he wants to keep his money in the bank. That, to me, sounds like he's going to deal for Halladay, use his money to sign a couple FA pitchers and then sign either DeRosa or Feliz to an affordable deal.
