I've been accepted to a college majoring in Economics and I'll start taking upper division courses soon (I'm a transfer student). I am also interested in accounting or even working as an accountant in the future, however the college I'm attending does not offer accounting so there's no way I can minor in accounting.
If I want to work in the accounting field do I have to have at least a bachelor degree in accounting? Or do you just take some courses then pass some standardized exams to obtain an accountant license or sth?
There're so many accounting diplomas and continue education courses out there so I'm really confused.
Thanks!!!!
