1. Never say never.
Meaning: Vowing to or not to do something is not my response in any circumstances
Example: In my practice of filial piety, I never say never to my parents.

2. Rome was not built in one day.
Meaning: No masterpiece was completed in a very short period of time.

3. <Sorry, I don't understand>

4. Actions speak louder than words.
Meaning: What you do is more constructive than what you say.
Example: Actions speak louder than words. I will wait and see whether you can keep your promise or it's just another blank cheque.

5. In for a penny, in for a pound
Meaning: If it's worthy to go for a penny, than go for a much larger sum (i.e. a pound, which is in monetary terms 100 times as valuable as a penny)
Example: Your gambling style of 'In for a penny, in for a pound' is not sustainable. Just leave it alone and focus on something constructive.
