Hey Guys , I love Football (soccer). I'm a Central Midfielder but I can play on the left or right wings. Im wondering if its still possible for me to become a professional , because I'm 16yrs old , I've played for teams but currently am not. My parents want me to do well in school. I can do well in school and do well in football. How come i make them support me in football and still do well in school . Please i really need some help.Without football i just feel like there's a space in my life left incomplete. Some other details about my game are that, I can give a great pass, i can win a ball , i have a good shot , i have leadership qualities , i have a bit of pace and can tackle very well. Any coaches or anyone. Please ! Give me some answers! They will be much appreciated.

Most football players are spotted very early in life by coaches, who then pass on the names to football clubs. The clubs watch the players and assess them, if the players are any good they would get a trial with the club. IF you have not been approached by now, then the chances are it will never happen.
Sorry, but it's a hard life.

Im 16 and I want to know that too. But I'm from the US which is pretty rough to make it profesional cause at the same time I have to focus on school and dam there's barely enough time to play football here. HW, HW, HW, and more HW lol.

Why not? 16 years old is quite young, but I think you should begin to join some soccer team/club. I understand your feeling, the rest of your life would be so sad if you can't be a soccer player

FIrst thing you need to do is join a soccer club around your area. Next thing you need to do is try out for your school team. And the most important thing you need to do is practice. If you wanna become a professional you need to get your stamina level up to its highest possible level. Run a 5k every day until you've run so many times that you don't even feel that tired after your run. You may think your're good but trust me there are people just like you and who want it more than you. What you also need to do is decide what type of player you want to be. If you generalize the type of player you are it'll be easier to practice becuase you'll know what you need to work on. For example if you think you're a playmaker, practice on your passing accuracy by trying to hit a far away target. If you want to be a defensive midfielder get one of your friends to practice with you and try to tackle them before they get past you. If you're good enough a college will notice you and from there you can go on to a pro club.
