It has to be reyes for a number of reasons.... He's a better fielder (better fielding percentage and covers more ground) He's got more power (although, he hasn't quite figured out when he should or shouldn't be swingin for the fences) He scores more runs, steals more bases, and more important to his teams offense. If you look at the games in which Reyes scores, the Mets have over .800 winning percentage. When Jeter scores, the Yanks have about a .580 winning percentage. The two strengths that Jeter has over Reyes are his ability to deliver in the clutch and his consistency over the last several years.

Hanley Ramirez is the best shortstop in baseball. He has speed and power. He just came off an amazing offensive and defensive season. He's great but still continues to work hard to become better every year.

I think there's a real possibility for Hanley Ramirez becoming the greatest shortstop in baseball history.
