咁係末Graphite內每1粒carbon atom得7粒electron(6粒share, 1粒delocalized)?

Octet rule

Each C atom has 3 bond pairs of electrons and 1 delocalized electrons. The electrons are delocalized along (above and below) the plane of atoms. Such delocalization of electrons is a special form of sharing electrons, and thus each C atom in graphite obeys the octet rule.

graphite can conduct electricity due to the vast electron delocalization within the carbon layers. These valence electrons are free to move, so are able to conduct electricity. However, the electricity is only conducted within the plane of the layers.
