How do I download CD's onto my I-pod through I-tunes?

I put the CD into the computer, and it downloaded it onto itunes. It wont let me copy and paste into a new folder, and if I eject the CD from the computer, it deletes the CD music.

insert a cd into your computer/laptop. a window should pop up asking you if you want to import the cd into your itunes library. choose yes, and it should go into your music library. then plug in your ipod and add the music to it.

A little work-around would be ripping the CD in Windows Media Player first (in .mp3 or other formats but .wma because it will require a second conversion in iTunes again), then drag the folder from your Windows Explorer into your iTunes music library and work from there.

it sounds like there's something wrong w/yur computer so what i suggest u do is download the cd onto windows media player and then open itunes go to add folder to library and it will convert the media file over to itunes.
