Essential medial supplies are allowed on an airplane. Consult check-in counter clerk for special arrangements to be made for refrigeration of your medicine.

When you go through TSA you have your alcohol and all your medical supplies in a bag and give it to them. They run your alcohol and everything and let you go through. I never had problems except through Las Vegas airport where they are just mean at TSA. But as long as you have the prescription and keep everything together you won't have problems. I bring all my stuff with me and keep it in a separate plastic bag and give it to them as soon as I am getting through security. Needles, prescription bottle and alcohol.
