Picked my girl & Boy names!! What do you think? Suggestions?

Girl: Madisyn Elizabeth

Boy: Cody Dean

(My husband loves Cody and is soo picky with any other boy names, and we have to use Dean because it's the middle name of his father who he was very close to and passed away unexpectedly a few months ago)

What do you guys think? Good names? Suggestions?

Thanks so much!

I love both names. Both are very cute, but I'm not fond of the spelling you chose for Madisyn. However, it is ultimately your choice and is still an adorable name.

the first time I've heard of Madisyn, but I like the boy's name.

Madisyn is a dodgy re-spelling of the BOYS name Madison. Elizabeth is nice. Try Madeline instead.

Cody Dean is absolutely gorgeous!

I like Cody Dean. Hopefully your last name doesn't start with "D". I agree with a previous answer that Corey might be a nice alternative, as I have a hard time imagining an adult named Cody - it seems a little childish.

Madisyn Elizabeth - hmmm. I dislike the name Madison in any spelling. It really is a boy name to me (as is anything that has a "son" at the end, as it would technically mean "son of Madi"). It doesn't help that "Maddie"s are all over the place, and I am yet to meet one that wasn't a total brat. I've seen recently someone using the name Mattilyn, which I thought was kinda cute.
Elizabeth is one of those great, feminine, classy names that will always be fabulous. It also has about a million built-in nicknames - Beth, Liz, Lizzy, Betty, Betsy, Eliza, Bett, Ellie, etc.
Keep Elizabeth, rethink Madisyn.

Cody sounds too much like a pet.....

How about Corey Dean?

The original Madison is better than Madisyn, but I myself don't really like this name, because it sounds like Medicine, the last thing I want is to see my child sick...

Elizabeth is Lovely.

Madisyn Elizabeth - This name is pretty, and flows well together.

Cody Dean - I like Cody but I'm not a huge fan of Dean, though I do understand why you're using the name. Also, I personally feel that Cody isn't a good name for a person when he's grown up - it's too child-like. You could easily go for a name suited for both child and adult and use Cody as a nickname.

Good luck,

G2B
