1. 做食物是 cook food or make food?
--> 二個都可以，一般較常用 cook (something) 或 make lunch/dinner 或 make something to eat


2. 幫某人做食物,是否可講 make food for someone
--> 可。不過一般很少講 make "food"，
可用 make lunch/dinner/supper/something for someone


3. 如何翻 "蘋果是水果的一種嗎?" 可否寫如下:
Is an apple the kind of fruit? or
Is an apple the type of fruit?
--> 二個都不正確。要看問句正不正確，最容易的方法就是先把直述句寫出來:
Apple is a kind of fruit. 所以這個問句要寫成:
Is apple a kind of fruit?


4. 我反對你的意見(不能用disagree or agree),是否可寫如下:
I am against your opinion.
--> 可以，但用 My opinion is against yours. 好一點
不過以上二句還是比不上 I don't agree with you. 這句好


5. 一般講某東西在右邊是否可用on the right side
--> 當然可以!!

翻成 Something is on the right side.

那跟 Something is on your right side一樣嗎?
--> Something is on the right side. = 某物在右邊
Something is on your right (hand) side. =某物在你的右邊
PS. 正確是 on your right hand side，但平常對話時可省略"hand"


6. 我增加5公斤是否可寫如下
I have gained 5 kilogram (後要加weight嗎?)
--> 很好、沒錯!! ( 正確kilograms後面要加s，但一般對話時可省略s) ，後面不需加weigh

weigh可用於:
I weigh 5 kilos more. 我增加了5公斤
I put on some weigh. 我變胖了些

one kind of 很好，可以!!

the 是用在指"特定的某一個/種"，但這邊「蘋果是水果的"一種"」
所以是 one kind of

若用the時，
Apple is the kind of fruit.
意思就變成「蘋果就是"那一種"水果」(是"那一種"=that kind of，而不是"哪一種")
