✔ 最佳答案
12 - 10(x + 3y) = 0
12 - 10x - 3y = 0
y = (12 - 10x)/3

Answer: y = (12 - 10x)/3 OR y = (2[6 - 5y])/3
------------
12 - 10x - 3y = 0
x = (12 - 3y)/10

Answer: x = (12 - 3y)/10 OR x = (3[4 - y])/10 OR x = 1.2 - 0.3y

12-10(x+3y)=0
12-10x_3y =0
10x+3y =12
y =(12-10x)/3
therefore x =(12-3y)/10

12 -10x -30y =0 then 30y =12 -10x

y = 12 - 10x/30

y = (6 - 5x)/15 Was this equation to be solved for y?

12-10(x+3y)= 12-10x-30y
2009-10-27 9:06 pm
12-10x-30y
2009-10-27 5:29 pm
12 - 10(x + 3y)
= 12 - 10(x) - 10(3y)
= 12 - 10x - 30y

12-10x+30y

(multiply everything in brackets by the number before: 10
times x = 10x, 10 time 3y = 30y)

You have two variables x and y, so you need two equations to solve. Moreover the above equation is incomplete. If the equation is written as

12-10(x+3y) = 0, then

10(x+3y) = 12

x+3y = 12/10 = 1.2

x = 1.2 - 3y

what are we solving for? and there is no equals sign it would need to be written like this

solve for x ( or y) so re ask the question and then i can help!

12 - 10(x + 3y) = 0

i think it goes like this
2 (x +3y)
--->2x +6y =0
--->2x = - 6y
---> x = -3y
