What will going happen if Vladimir Guerrero will be changing any different baseball teams in 2010?

Vladimir will be signing with the New York Mets for the 2010 season. He'll play left field.

He will be playing for a different team in 2010 unless he takes a HUGE pay-cut. A HuuuuuGE pay-cut.

The Mets were right, they passed on him in '04 saying that the back problem would eventually end his career.

Art Howe did do one thing right.

Guerrero is in serious decline, mostly due to a chronic back ailment.

He would usually be looking for a 3 yr deal. At this point his market value would have dropped dramatically..he might get a one year deal with a 2nd year option. At an extremely low price.

As to what will happen, I assume Vlad has his money in the bank already, he is probably not concerned.
