at the moment i am a junior in high school
i know that i want to travel the world, and i dont care how
im planning to save some money from my job now, work through senior year and just take off for a random country after graduation. im thinking peru or india or honestly i dont care. and then live there for a couple months, work there too and then just move on the next country and do that till i dunno, i die or something. i understand that i should go to college but i feel life is too short and i dont want to waste my life away, i believe if i follow my dream i will have eternal happiness.

is there any tips for me?
or do u think this is insane as well?
and i have no idea what i want to b when i get older.

In my opinion, I think finishing school - high school & college would be the best idea here. Don't get me wrong, travelling is amazing! But if you want to get a job you might want to find something related to tourism. For instance, you could be a stewardess - (at least you get to travel the world, right?)

You don't want to find a job and work for a couple of months & THEN just move on to the next country, don't you want to have a stable job? and when you do, you can travel anywhere! Just make sure that you get a successful job that will give you 'good' pay - if you know what I mean... If you think you opinion is best - go with your instinct, and do whatever makes you happy :)

You have a lot ahead of you, so think about it before you make that decision okay? Goodluck with everything and I hope you find what you're looking for :)

I like your idea, its what i been doing for the past 3 years and trust me when i say its been great! You see alot, do alot and the best of all you have memories, photos and stories that will last a life time. But to be honest its not all easy. You see alot of good people come and go, including your friends at home as they will get envious that your doing somthing great with your life and theyre still doing the same stuff, problems do occur and some decisions are very hard to make...especially when your dependant on only yourself and your abilities but in turn make you a beter person. What you could do is get a teaching english to people of another language course behind you that way you can teach anywhere where they need to learn english...which is almost anywhere but some places do require experiance. se asia is a good place to get that. Your food and accom is covered, you have support and a wage to save. Theres also plenty of those jobs out there from asia, to africa, the middle east and europe. Follow my golden rule, only take or purchase what your backpack can carry and is 20kg and under. Same with your day pack but 5kg and under. Have the courage to take that first jump and dont give in to home sickness. Most people dont do it because they dont have the balls to, but one day they wish they did. Memories last for life.
