"as well as" 是"也一樣" 的意思，在這裡不能這樣用。"As well as" 也不能用作開始，它只能放在兩種相同性質的事物中間，同"and"的用法雷同:

"I like ice-cream as well as candies."
"I need to bring rulers as well as pens."
