I just got contacts that are suppose to last 14 days. If I don't wear them for a day, does that day count?

What I mean is, does the day that I DON'T wear them count as one of the 14 days that they are supposed to last?

I got them on Saturday and wore them the whole rest of the day. I haven't, and won't be, wearing them today (Sunday). So does that mean I still have 13 days left or do I now have 12?

As long as you take good care of them with proper rinsing solution, they should not count, but try not to do this repeatedly.

Also, the 14 day contacts last about 2 more days then needded so you can just not worry but only do this once or MAYBE twice.

when they say 14 days, they really mean 14 wears. some people only wear their contacts for sports or special occasions, and make a set of contacts last months.
Since you have only worn them one day then you still have 13 wears left in them.

14 days start from the day open the them, doesn't matter how many times/days you've worn them after they're opened.
