Mild lumbar spondylosis with marginal lipping is noted. Two small T1 hyperintense and T2 hyperintense bony lesions are noted within L3 and L4 vertebral bodies, with suppressed signal on IR images, likely represent small vertebral haemangiomas. No other focal bony lesion or abnormal marrow signal intensity is seen. The vertebral height and vertebral endplate appear preserved. Bony alignment is satisfactory, no abnormal anteroposterior slip is noted.
The conus medullaris is ended at level of L1 with no abnormal signal intensity seen. The filum terminale and cauda equina are unremarkable, No abnormal intrathecal mass lesion is seen. The intervertebral disc shows normal disc height and disc signal.
AT L2/3 Level, mild bilateral facet hypertrophies with posterolateral thecal sac indentation is seen. No definite nerve root compression is associated.
At L4/5 level, mild posterior disc bulge with mild anterior thecal sac flattening is seen. Together with facet hypertrophy, the left L5 nerve root is mildly encroached in the lateral recess without significant compressive effect.
No other significant posterior disc bulge or herniation is seen.
