英文Gramma問題

只有下列的句子是 正確的：

1. ABC restaurant is specialized in providing Japanese dishes.

specialized 是一形容詞。

這句子是不能寫成 PASSIVE VOICE，

因為句子裡只 有 " Verb to Be "--- is，

並沒有 " 及物動詞 ( transitive verb)。

Data 是眾數，所以上述句子是有錯的，

應該是：

Data were taken from an interview with staff.

應該是：

These data were taken from an interview with staff.--------十分正確.

但現今有不少人將 data 解作 information ( 這是習慣的用法 )

所以

如果 ABC restaurant is the doer (實行者)
應該是
1. ABC restaurant specializes in providing Japanese dishes.----------100%正確

而 不是
2. ABC restaurant is specializing in provinding Japanese dishes..----------100% 不正確

Sentence 2 is correct because ABC restaurant is the doer (實行者) of the action "specialize".

1&2兩句不可轉passive voice,因為它們已經是passive voice形式.

data是datum的復數形式,但是everyday english中可以用單數動詞,所以此句是正確的.
