Once the mechanic is done diagnosing the problem, be sure to ask for the OE numbers of the parts that he suggests you buy. Part stores usually have search boxes where you can search for part numbers.

Again, be sure you already have expert advice from a mechanic on what part to buy so you do not end up losing money on a part you do not need.

So you go to auto parts stores to diagnose problems with your car? Not a very good idea. Go see your mechanic instead. Even if you find, and put the hose on, you will still not get cold air, you will have to evacuate the system down to vacuum and put in oil and freon among other things before it will work again.

Why didn't Pep Boys sell you one? They are an auto parts store, they probably have it in stock.

There is a suction hose and a discharge hose. One is larger and thicker than the other. The thick one is the low pressure side.

Either call your Nissan dealer or have Pep Boys look up the part. They should be able to tell you which one is which.
