公立醫生超時補水是否合理?
因為根據僱傭合約是不會有補償的,同時已有$3500津貼,作為補償已經合理.他們有否想過讀醫科時,要政府補貼超過一百萬才能畢業,因為你們只需要交$43000學費一年,而每一個大學生平均要二十多萬一年,醫科生用錢更多.畢業後給機會你們在公立醫院實習,等你們累積經驗,日後回報社會.但現在竟財迷心竅,金錢至上.實有負你們的前輩及納稅人的期望.甚麼仁心仁術,懸壺濟世.非你輩所為.盡快出去掛牌做個庸醫吧.

這個問題本身就是僱傭合約有問題,
基本上任何工人如果超時沒有補水是不合理的,
即使一個奴隸,幫主子做完一天的工作,
最基本起碼包食包住, 有休息時間,
主張超時不應有補水的人,對待工人簡直是連奴隸都不如,
人是應該有他的基本人權,專嚴,生存權利,
當初各國禁止販賣人口,廢除奴隸制,
就是基於要專重人權,專重人有基本人生自由,
當然如果有朋友,他幫你義務工作,
他做得開心,而你又熱心感謝,這是好的,
但如果變成是僱主和僱員的關係,
變成超時沒有補水是奉旨的,
個個義務免費幫佢打工是他應得的,
某員工不加班(無補水果種)就即時黑面,
那就太不要得了!
當然,你會問醫生本身是否薪酬太高,或福利太好?
那又是另一個問題了.

有人話: 出來做野係唔應該怕蝕底,
唔好咁斤斤計較.
但做人都應該有自己做人既原則,
做一些蝕底的事情都應該有個底線,
如果對方(老闆)有些不合理的要求,
就要識得向對方 Say No!
識得同人建立關係的同時,
亦要應該識得保護自己應有的權利.
Overtime pay; there is really a fine line and sometimes this line is blurred. I live in US and do not know about the system in HK. In US, some professionals draw OT pay and some do not, such as Nurses do and Nurse Managers do not. But employers can be sued by using this loop hole to create a lot of managers and avoid paying OT. The so call managers can recover the OT money owed and other punitive damages in court. Doctors are professionals and in the US, doctors are mostly self-employed so OT is out of the question. Some doctors are employed by a large insurance company or Federal government, and I do not know how they handle the pay of OT hours. This OT issue must be stipulated in the employment contract.
This is a complicated, controversial topic, especially regarding a profession of medical doctors nowadays, and has nothing to do with the moral issue in my opinion. HK Labor dept must have some specific guidelines to this, or some readers in the Human Resources field can help to shed some light on it.
