Peter buys a pen with 5份之3(我唔識打分數) of his pocket money. After buying the pen, he has $10 left. How much pocket money does he have?

Let A be the pocket money he had before buying the pen,
A x ( 1- 3/5 ) = 10
A x 2/5 = 10
A = 25

Let he orginal had money Y
He use 3/5 x Y to buy a pen,
That means he have 2/5 x Y
2/5 x Y =10
Y = 25
The cost of pen=
3/5 x 25 = 15
To prove the answer,
Left money + used money(pen) = orginal money he had
10 + 15 =25

Peter uses 3/5 of his pocket money.
The fraction of pocket money left = 1 - 3/5 = 2/5
2/5 of pocket money = $10
Total pocket money = $10 divided by 2/5
= $10 * 5/2
= $25
He has $25 of pocket money

2x/5=10, x=25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
