剛剛在電視聽到曾特首講election的發音為「易- leg- 唇」,但本人一向知道的讀音乃是「易- 叻- 唇」.
想問Election英文正確讀法?
有冇分英國音,美國音?

首先要講的是，若我們查考yahoo字典leg的國際音標是圖片參考：http://l.yimg.com/mq/i/dic/055.gif
（因響音與g共發聲，所以做成egg音）
但election的音標是

actually there are 2 pronnounciation
one is /e/ lack/ tion/
one is /噁/的普通話 /lack/tion/
but no matter which one, the correct one must not be /leg/

I would pronounce it as "e-let-tion" (let doesn't pronounce the "t" sound)
