A particle is thrown vertically upwards. When the particle is at the maximum
height, its acceleration is

A. zero
B. changing from upwards to downwards.
C. changing from downwards to upwards
D. pointing upwards
E. pointing downwards
唔該解釋

仲有一條問題,就係v2=u2+2as呢一條算式係咪一定要分開2part 黎計,如果可以一次過計可唔可以比一個例子去解釋??thx

Answer : E

任何物件於地球表面,都受到gravitational force (g) ge 影響。Gravitation force會向住地心 (earth core) 拉住件物件。

而你亦都應該學左 Gravitation force = mg
所有物件都有一個Gravitation force (mg) 向下拉
如果該物件係置於地面上,就會有翻個Normal Reaction (R)出左黎。
個Normal Reaction 係 apply on the object by the ground,亦抵銷左個mg
冇net force,F=0,F=ma,所以a等於0

不過,當題目中的particle是於空中的,只有mg向下拉佢
Net force = mg(向下)
而F=ma
所以mg=ma
m約左
a=g(向下)

其實,所有物件如果冇引擎之類ge野將佢推向上,而又係凌空ge,個acceleration (a)都會係等如g(向下)

如果u=0,咁就會變左v2=2as

A particle which is initially at rest is falling from the top of a building which has a height of 100 m. Find the velocity of the object when it is just above the ground.

therefore, v2=0+(2)(10)(100)
v=開方(2000)
= 44.7 ms-1
