HHH Metrodome is dead?

nope where they played before the Metrodoom is where the Mall of America is
the Vikings will still be playing in the Metrodoom and it was better suited for football than baseball

Im from minnesota and i thinik its just stupid, no one will call it that it will still be the metrodome or the dome

For baseball its dead. And so sad. I'm going to miss that place. For all the reasons people have previously mentioned.

Its actually Mall of America Field @ HHH Metrodome. So the name actually isn't changed.

Its not dead, it'll still be there.

Last year after the season ended, they tore down Shea Stadium, and took away allot of memories. It's really strange to have a parking lot there now. At least you still have the stadium.

Yet another example of how the business world is taking over. In Chicago, it was Comiskey Park, the Rosemont Horizon, the Sears Tower. And now, it's U.S. Cellular Field, the Allstate Arena, and the Willis Tower ("What'choo talkin' 'bout, Willis?").

It's stupid. Always refer to it as the Metrodome, not by the name of a huge mall not even located in Minneapolis.

Baseball may not be played there anymore, but the memories will always stay.

yes. not to mention, how dumb does mall of america field sound? I am upset by that, don't get me wrong they do support the what used to be called the dome, but still, that's just not right. no matter what to me, it will always be the dome

Gone Incognito has it right - that is the official name. It is similar to those courts that are named for college BB coaches, i.e. Jim Boeheim Court at the Carrier Dome. It was to take effect on October 5, but was delayed until the Twins were eliminated. Now, it is just around for the Vikings.

For baseball yes, but football still lives on.

No, Minnesota Vikings are still playing at the Metrodome.

Not for Mall of America becuase the Vikings are stiill onna be there. But everyone else is always saying that the Metrodome was the Worst baseball stadium. No matter what people say I always will remember the HHH Metrodome.
