校園驗毒計畫好與壞??(急)

Background

In view of the seriousness of the school drug abuse problem, and its impacts on schools and society, there is a need to accelerate the development of school drug testing.
Thanks to the school principals and teachers of Tai Po district, who volunteer full support for launching the Trial Scheme in school year 2009-10


Objectives


Prevention




To educate students to stay away from drugs
Help contain and reduce the drug abuse problem in schools
To build a drug free learning environment
Early Identification and Intervention




To help schools in early identification and intervention of students who are vulnerable or are already abusing drugs
To provide timely and appropriate counselling, treatment and rehabilitation or referral services to students
To motivate student drug abusers to seek help

they are so EAGER to know -- why this SYMPTOMS is about -- is it about the city , about the soft drug or how SOME NASTY medical doctor, cult church make money -- why most catholic school kids -- are so ABNORMAL -- 60% of them got stupid thought about peeping etc

The positive result: The teachers can know which student have drug abuse and they can provide suitable help for the student. If the daughter/son has drug abuse, parents can know it, they may be having more discussion with their children.

The negative result: The government did not mention clearly that if they find the student taking drug, what they would do. Some student will skip lessons, it will affect the students’ study. The privacy problem: The students’ personal profile may spread out. The government also mentioned that they will not pass the case to the police, so the work of the social workers and teaches will increase.
