GUYS: can you answer this simple question for me?

I don't want to be sexist but it seems girls don't learn how to hit on guys. Whereas guys have to learn or else they stay virgins their whole lives.
For some reason after elementary school girls stop sending those mark the box if you like me letters or any other form of making the first move.
As for myself, being a guy, in the rare occasion a girl hits on me, I get intimidated and reject the girl. Even now being in my twenties if a girl hits on me I never see it coming.

I don't like chasing too much, ( like being messed about) but I don't like girls come across as desperate either, depends on the girl I suppose or what shes asking me to meet her to do. Most men are different, for example, some of my friends would rather wait around for girls to come to them, ( they'll be waiting long ) lol while others would be out that night to pull women. ( I'm usually one of those ) lol

girls making the first move always take a load off of the guys shoulders
they dont have to necessarily confess their feelings, but flirting, and initiating conversations / hang outs are all good enough

Well, this is only my preference, but I'm very shy and I get very nervous about these kind of things, so I would like it more if a girl made the first move.

i like to chase or when the girls makes the first move
that way i'll know what she is thinking about
i dont like girls playing mind games, just gets annoying lol
but i'm half/half i guess
