"Planning" to win money from scholarship competitions for tuition - for HS or college - is sort of like "planning" to win the lottery so you can make your mortgage payments. There are far more students looking for extra money for school than there are scholarship competitions and the amount of money to be won from a single competition is going to be far less than the total you'll need to attend those schools.
By all means keep looking for scholarships you can compete for (I'd start by looking at the individual schools' web sites), but also be realistic about paying for one of these places. You and your family should get in touch with financial aid advisers at the schools you're interested in (I'm only assuming such people exist - you'll have to check) so that you know the REAL cost of attending, what options the schools offer, how other families are managing the costs, etc. Treat any money you win from scholarship competitions as a bonus that reduces what you and your family will have to provide.
