The team with the best record (Yankees this year) get to play the team with the worst record but it CAN'T be a team from their division.
Since the Sox are the wild card and in the Yankees' division, the Yanks automatically get either Detroit or Minn from the Central.
Your boys get the leftovers which are the Boston Rex Sox!

The Yankees, who don't have the best record in the AL but also in the Majors, will be facing the team with the lowest wins this season. That team is either the Twins or Tigers. Thus, Yankees will be facing Twins/Tigers.
That leaves only two teams, the Angels and the Red Sox. Therefore, the Angels be facing Red Sox in the ALDS.

The first round, they're playing the Red Sox, then after that i hope they play the yankees, to knock them out :P

If you're ever unsure, just assume they're playing the Red Sox. These two teams seem to meet every time both reach the playoffs.
