雖然她學業成績非常出色, 但係佢說話帶有懒音,
是否可以被取錄成為新聞報導員就真係一個未知之數!
除非佢可以戒除懒音這個壞習慣 就另計啦!

Though she always passes every test and exam with flying colours at school, her pronunciation is pretty unclear - with a kind of clipped accent.It would be a fat chance for her to be hired as a news announcer.
If she could kick this bad habit, that would be a different story

Although her academic performance is excellent, she carries lazy tonage in her speech. Whether or not she'll be hired as a news reporter is still an unknown. If she can correct her lazy tonage problem it'll another story.

Although her academic achievement is splendid, but is she speaks has the lazy sound, Whether can select and admit into the newspaper report is really an unknown number! Only if she may give up lazy sound this bad custom in addition to count!

His phonetics/pronunciation is not clear despite the fact that he had passed the classes with flying colors. Whether or not he can become a reporter is still a mystery remains unsolved. It will be another story if he can get rid of his pronunciation problem.
