I don't get the following question. Can someone help?

A function y = f ( x ) is graphed. If g ( x ) = - f ( x ) , then the graph of y = g ( x ) is the same as the graph of

a) y = f ( x ) reflected in the x-axis
b) the reciprocal of y = f ( x )
c) y = f ( x ) reflected in the line y = x
d) y = f ( x ) reflected in the y-axis

Explain...

thanks

The ans. is (a).

Reflecting y=f(x) to the x-axis becomes y=-f(x)=g(x)

b) reciprocal y=1/f(x)
c) x=f(y)
d) y=f(-x)
