The current pope (教宗) is Pope Benedict XVI. He was born at Marktl am Inn, Diocese of Passau (Germany) on 16 April 1927 (Holy Saturday) and was baptised on the same day. He know resides within the Vatican City.
現任教宗本篤十六世在1927年4月16日(聖周六) 生於德國的上巴伐利亚阿爾卑斯山脈帕騷教區的馬克特爾鎮,並在同日領洗。他現居於梵蒂岡。
