(1)美國加洲護士工作難找嗎?
Well, depend on which field you are talking about.
Generally, general hospital staff is very hard to find, speciality staff such as mental ward, ER, intensive care ward, radiology and etc are easier to find. But relatively, you need more experience to work in that field. If you just graduate from university and have not yet worked in any of those area, good luck.
(2)要甚麼資格
Well, to practice nurse in California, you need a California State Nurse License. It cannot be from any other state.
For an oversea applicant, you must get a California State License by examination, or if you have obtain another license from another US state, you need it (your license) to be endorsed by the Board of Nursing, California.
If you would like to get a License by Examination, you need to take the General Test National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) for California Examination.
Also, you need to have a background check done by DOJ to be able to obtain a Nursing License in state of California.
(3)薪金如何
Entry level - (No prior Experience) ~US$35,000/year
Specialist Nurse (Mental, ICU, ER) ~ US 45-50,000/ year
Senior Qualification (Head Nurse, etc) ~ US$70,000/year
(4)福利如何
Mostly you only get Medical Benefit, sometime you will have housing and travel benefit, depend on hospital to hospital.

wow~, you are the lucky one..... in US, nurse ( special RN ) is top skill personal they looking for.
because so many people study medical doctor, but very less people will stay in major of nurse ( same work in school and hospital, but less statue and less pay ).
she can find work in hospital, health care center, nursing home, private office, or even self employ.
yes, she need to take the exam in US for the certificate, not it should be so hard........ may back to take few classes before the exam. i suggest she should go talk to HR ( human resource office ) in some hospitals. see if they can help her.......
$$$, RN is high pay job in US. base slaray plus OT...... will be over $ 70000 a year.
benefit, health benefit ( in family plan ), vacation pay, holiday pay, sick pay......... that is basic benefits. some hospital will included accident and life insurances.
good luck.
PS. if she has problem in Califoria; don't forget there are 49 more States in US may welcome her live there.

1. Depends on the speciality. Some hospitals are still hiring to replace retired nurses. Some are not due to the economic climate. It is a kind of 2 sides situation.
2. You need to be licensed in California. You should contact California Board of Registered Nursing for detail:
http://www.rn.ca.gov/
You may be able to convert your license from Hong Kong.
3. Depends on the speciality and experience.
4. Depends on the employers.
