1.As glass is not reactive that will not affect the experiment result.Also,glass is transparent that experiment reactions could be observe easily and glass is cheap.2.When we need to conduct electricity or heat in an experiment because metal is a good conducter of heat and electricity.
3.When we need not to conduct electricy or heat because wood is an insulater.
