Burning & Respiration

1)Both processes are the oxidation of cabon containing compounds to release energy & carbon dioxide .
2)Burning needs initial energy(temperature) higher to start the reaction . The released energy may be in form of heat , light or sound , both happening singly or together . It is usually taken place outside the living things . There are 2 types of respiration : one with oxygen & one without oxygen . It is usually taken place inside living things , with complicated biochemical reactions involving enzymes to slowly release controllable form energy in the cells.

1)They both break down sugar into water, CO2
2)Burning release energy in form of fire
Respiration release energy in form of A.T.P
