BIll is mostly correct, but 12 / 3 = 4.

4x+3y=-12
Move all non y values to the right:
3y=-4x-12
Divide both sides by 3:
y=-(4/3)x-4
Sorry for the previous error. Was working it out in a rush.

4x -3y = 12 -3y = 12 - 4x 3y = -12 + 4x y = -4 + 4/3x
