16.35

the hundredth is the five and to round to it you must see whether the number after it is larger or smaller than 5. It is two so i stays the same.

The first answer is right.. the rest? Well, they are wrong...

One hundredth is 0.01, so the hundredth place is the second decimal place. 16.352 to two decimal places is 16.35, as the 2 is the third decimal place rounds down.

16.35 to the hundreths place, 16.4 to the tenths place

i am very surprised with ppl answering this question and saying common sense and getting it wrong! WOW!

.0 = 10ths
.00 = hundreths

and so on....

So 16.35 is the answer...round down... if it were 16.356, the answer would be 16.36 cause of rounding up.

understand?

5.9952 To round that to the nearest hundredth (hundredth is the second number after the decimal) you have to look at the 3rd number and see if it is 5 or greater, or lower than 5. If it is higher than 5, round up and so the number would turn into 6. 6.00 is the correct answer.
